The food was delicious and our favorite meal while in the DR. The owner was helping to take orders and see how things were going, the rest of the staff was really nice and they were quick with getting the food out as it was 11am-12pm. I got the goat with rice and beans and my boyfriend got the steak and onions with rice and beans! He ordered another serving after he liked it so much and the empanadas were DELICIOUS! We got the beef and chicken ones. We asked for salsa/hot sauce on the side and it was a great addition! Goat was tender and flavorful and the rice was cooked just right and the pinto beans had nice flavor too! Highly recommend!
We were here 2 times during our stay in Punta Cana, food always amazing, service and price also top!
Amazing local food!! This was recommended by the resort we were staying at, and it didn't disappoint! I had the goat, and my girlfriend had the ceviche and the pigeon pea stew. Everything was awesome and fresh. The table hot sauce was nice and spicy too. Great food and great value !! A
The food is soooo good!!Not sure why this doesn't come up when we search for local foodIt's a must try, even the whole district is so much fun!
Just had a great lunch here. The lobster and stew was amazing. Great flan for desert as well. Very authentic food and highly recommend!
My husband and I went there today for the first time, and the moment we walked in we knew we made the right choice. The place is very authentic: from the interior to food. I ordered grilled octopus with veggies, and my husband had the chicken mofongo. Everything was delicious! But I especially want to highlight the service. Nowadays it's hard to find a place where they would show knowledge of hospitality and customer service. And the staff in La Casita de Yeya know their job. Our waiter Emilio was very friendly and accommodating, with a great attitude. I hope the owners will read my review and praise Emilio. Sometimes you come back to a place not just for quality food, but for people like him. Thank you!
we had chivos sancocho empanada and nachos. Food was delicious. however they do include a 10% service charge on top of the 18% tax. Anyways that every restaurant does the same. the first server was clueless and they changed to another server who was very nice.
Yum!! This Dominican food it great. Awesome flavors and menu has tons of choices. We shared the nachos for an appetizer - super tasty! My husband got the empanadas and enjoyed them. The beans and rice was delicious. I'd recommend ordering the Dominican ground beef over seafood. We heard the soup is good too, but didn't personally try. Service is wonderful. We'll be back.
